I keep thinking about the absolutely stunning, emotive NGE doujinshi Re-Take. It's just amazing: it adds to the depth and complexity of the legendary series without taking anything away from it. Please, if you haven't read it already, please do so right now. No Evangelion fan should be without it!

I personally liked the ending in EoE, and this doujinshi simply adds to it without taking anything away from the series. Genius!

Yeah there was a 5, which continues the reality the doujinshi presents alongside the "real" reality presented at the end of EoE.

It's a fucking awesome piece of work, that doujinshi, isn't it? :)

I've been a huge anime and manga fan for over 2 decades now, *ever since I was like 4 years old* and Re-Take happens to be my personal favorite out of everything. Where as I prefer other animes over the actual Neon anime, this manga tops everything. It's truly saddening, and I'll admit I cried more than once *each time I've read it* It really shows a side of Shinji and Auska that you don't see in the anime, and it touches your heart . Worth a read if you haven't done so yet. You'll love it.

There are very few things that have actually gotten me emotionally, this is one of them. I was surprised how good Re-Take was, honestly, it's the greatest piece of fanwork I've ever seen and it deserves a read from any EVA fan.

and finally some other says she's just a random child who managed to come out from the sea of red and casually found Asuka and Shinji sleeping together (kinda weird that she has nothing to do with them, but it's more probable imo)

I'll answer, even if a year later (I saw this video only yesterday). There are discussions of who may be that girl. Some say she's Shinji and Asuka's daughter (i doubt it, wrong face and hair color), some say she's a child Misato, because you come out of the LCL sea in the form your mind has your body's image (i doubt it too, Misato died before the 3rd impact so i don't think she turned to LCL like others),
