First time I heard this band was '82 We had never heard this mellow, synthed, dreamy music in the early 80's.What a shocker!! It was still Red Rider, April Wine, basic rock. The entire Avalon album was truly a trailblazer into "mellow".The girl at A&A Records told me"You're gonna have a lot of fun with this album" Cruising on a Saturday night in the happy 80's. Brian Ferry was blessed with an awesome voice. And the girls just LOVED this guy!! -great memories!! thanks for uploading it, Buzz!!

Such a brilliant collection of artists. Always did their own thing & created their own unique sound. Manzenera's guitarwork has always been spellbinding to me. Incredible ear for empty spaces & subtle fills as well as tasty leads. He really knows how to play off of & accent keyboard textures which lots of lead guitarists don't. In fact, he & Gilmour are pretty much the masters. Great performance here, I'd love to have seen them. Thanks for sharing Brothe. Peace!

The best version of this song is on the live album/cd that was released of this tour. Neil's solo on that is just fucking brilliant. Best RM song ever.

@grbob - Ain't that the truth... Alan is one those unsung sidemen that really helps the music take flight... I always think of him around Easter time when I go back and listen to JCS tracks. His bass really drives the music!
