What about privacy when you have children? I always worry about putting my full name out there.

@cajunchic I assume you mean that someone might cause your children harm. That is of course a real concern. People could find out my home adres by just looking me up in the phone book. But I know the full name and hometown of thousands of people I follow on twitter, facebook and youtube. Nowadays with the internet it's very easy to find out. It won't be too hard to find Shaycarl's, Philip de Franco's, Shane Dawsons or Matt Damon's adress either...

BUT that is a real concern though. Point taken!

what if you don't want to put your name especially the full name to protect from haters and harrassers that would go to the trouble of looking you up in the phone book just to make you and your family feel uneasy and unsafe. would just using a company or product name be just as good. for example MYFLIPNWORLD or ARTISTATBAY

@MyFlipNWorld Of course I understand that. But why would they do that? Unless you're video's are offensive for certain groups of people, which would suck btw, people would have no need to harm you.

Still, I do understand the problem, an alias works too!

You can also use a single letter for your last name as famous female tattoo artist Kat von D did. Safe but still very marketable. Remember: what IF you become a famous comedian/movie star? Eventually you would have to get your name out there :-)

@ninjatacoforce It is! But let's say you will become a successful comedian. Eventually you will need to get your real name out there. So go to Godaddy and find out if your name domain is still availible. Buy it, it's only 10 dollars per year, good investment!

@SuccessfulVlogging Do you watch ShayTards?? They recently moved to a bigger house but Shay said on one of his vlogs that it was because somebody gave out his address (it was on wikipedia) Some people say he is abusing his children (i dont really agree since my dad did the same things to me 30 years ago when i was their age why is it so bad now) But i think most people are just jealous of him. People are scary now a days, i hear about a lot of unnecessary violence. Just around here.

@SuccessfulVlogging very true. I guess that is why I am meant to watch and not vlog. lol I tend to worry about everything and I would worry about that to the extreme.
