  • Alright fine, if your point is that I should play nice, then you win. I was being a jerk. In all seriousness, I do not think that any diety can assist in our cleaning up after ourselves. The responsibility is entirely ours as a species.

  • every ceo needs to spend a year with this man.  a shining star amongst a mob of theives.

  • the manufacture and disposal (mercury, for one) does not outweigh the savings in electricity. In colder climates, the heat generated by regular incandescent bulbs - the reason they are termed 'wasteful' - is a benefit (where I live at least 9 months of the year we NEED the heat anyway...). As Y.C. says, unintended consequences...
