well, if they were able to get away justice here on earth for sure they will both face the ultimate justice when they die and face Jesus who will be the ultimate Judge and they can't get away with that.

damn that police department....jeff committed a suicide then.. its too obvious...they are making the viewers of this case like children.....

Wow... I actually like the ending. The victim's family probably understands that he didn't plan on killing Jeff. And he did pay the price. He has to live with the fact that he killed his best friend for the entire life, and to some extent, that's more than punishment by the law

I have never understood why there is a statute of limitations on wrongful death. A victim is a victim even thirty years later. Poor Jeff, killed by his best friend, betrayed by his girlfriend. He has (had) a wonderful family though.
