Retail floorplanning can be difficult to convey idealogical strategies via traditional 2D software programs. New 3D software helps senior managers visualise all the concepts that are being proposed. Floorplanning for retailers has evolved, these are the possibilities that can be explored.
it was only a conceptual view of how the software worked back then, 4 years in IT is a long time, we had a solution to productify the whole store with true planograms, it would have been 2d views though.

Considering the technology used in this film is getting close to 5 years now, I would agree the frame rate is poor. However the video was to help management visualize what most store planners know and understand when designing stores in 2D. When this was created a business opted for 3D still shots costing close to $11000 for 3 images rendered, investing in the software would have given the business continued returns as they worked out there concept before going to market. Hope that helps.
