  • wow Bryan, I did what you said and googled my name and tons of different video uploading sites came up where I haven't even been! And there are my videos, uploaded by people I don't know.:(

  • Greetings. If they are displaying in the YouTube player then most likely they were ether imbedded (an option we can turn of in our admin area) by some one or the web site owner has figured out how to display YouTubes videos automatically. I am sure there are other ways I am not aware of.

  • That explains a lot for me in terms of the number of people subscribed to my web site. Right from the beginning I knew videos could be posted anywhere online so I've always included my web link in my videos. I'm happy for my videos to travel in this way - except for when my link is cut from the end of the video (some sites do this I noticed).

  • Greetings. Since I found out this extra exposure is happening I have been kicking around the idea of having my web site address on the full video (similar to this video). The way it is now it stands out allot so I think I will have to figure out in my editor how to make it semi transparent like YouTubes ones are for there players displayed off of their site.

  • omg i saw that so long ago with my videos!

    I was like... OMG

  • Greetings. The question could be, do you care?

  • Good idea. If you can't work out transparency then even placing your web address in small white text with a hint of drop shadow in the bottom left corner can be just as effective. You don't want it to obstruct the viewing area as much as the YouTube logo does.
