lerouex is right.
I have an Epiphone Broadway that i really thought sounded absolutely wonderful; and it did right up to the day I got an L5. For some reason the Epi started sounding like a cardboard box that very day - go figure. I want a 6122-1959 in the worst way.

The Epiphone "Joe Pass" model is the best guitar for the money. The Gibson and the Gretsch do sound and play better yes.
