Ydel12345: we are not ignorants and illiterated people. If a book is written with warnings to people who you dislike, we are in our right to pay attention to such warnings and to know what we're facing, no matter if was a treat made 1380 yrs or 1001 days ago. Also much of what Quran says, it is supported by the other books... the bible and torah? no. Sunna and hadiths.

allah is telling the muslims because they broke the treaty give them 4 months to correct or honor it, if they still havent then (verse 5) slay and kill them whereever you may find them... This verse is speaking of a specific time for specific people... it is not a commandment as to establish ones faith... as for 9:29 you quoted it completely out of text. im gonna let it slide though because im sure you dont read or undersyand arabic.. however you need to be aware of where u get ur sources...

Ummmm.. have you ever read the quran, the holy quran is about 50percent history of other prophets, people and events... And your citation of surah 9:verse 5 is correct exactly as you stated it.. however you forgot to quote the verses before it.. so ill take it upon myself to clear things up.. if you read the begining of the chapter which is only 4 verses... the verses are directed at the muslims living in arabia at that time, who had a treaty with the pagans (which the pagans broke)
