Yeah, I think I was 7 years old back then. So 1977 would be about right.
The whole computer was actually run by a guy at the back of the room. -- his computer was much bigger.

"smartasscub", yes I'm really that kid. That's about it. I tried to learn German in high school and later tried to learn Spanish in college. "Bonjour Grandmere, Granpere. Como tale vou?" is about all I ever learned.

It doesn't show the part, after he speaks French to his grandparents, where he blows them away with missiles, using what he learned from the Atari.
I owned one of these too. Great machines in their day.
