Dio didnt have to say it but its always cool to hear someone say it. Tony is unrivaled when it comes to riffs. The only people that come close are players who listen to nothing but sabbath.

I interviewed Ronnie James Dio in 1997 or 1998 when I was in college for my campus radio station. In that interview, Ronnie described Tony Iommi as having riffs "coming out of his ears" and that was why Tony was always his favorite guitar player with whom to write music.
