AFM Formula Singles Infineon Raceway 05/24/09

This is me ( joe carrillo afm #12 ) right after the start of the formula singles race, entering turn 2 for the first time. What you don't see in this sequence is the other rider slamming into me from behind, out of control locked-up on the brakes. What you do see is everything after that first contact where he and his bike try and take me out two more times. once, part of his body under my bike (you can see my rear wheel off the ground) the other where his bike slides into me again. I feel very lucky to have kept it up on two wheels ! (phewww)

you got to admire the fact that even though he way over cooked it and was sliding both wheels he was still up on the pegs steering into the skid trying to ride it out.
