Growing up in the 60s my parents would repeatedly play this tune and Glen Millers American Patrol on 78rpm records on our gramophone. Wonderful memories of them dancing in the living room, ballroom style.

I love the buildup of the rolling drums at the end. It is the only drumming I can replicate in my head, it seems to have a tune of its own.

@tullocho what a great sound & isn't that drumming fantastic.I can still remember my school friend in 1957 playing this on his drum kit to practice. All that practice was justified as he became a very good drummer, touring all over the world & backing such artists as Milt Jackson,Joe Henderson,Gary Burton,Sonny Stitt etc. Also played with Don Burrows. His name is Alan Turnbull & he lives in Sydney,Australia.Good luck,Alan.
