I would say if somebody grabs your neck like that, just hit him in the face. He ll let go.

@minasz And if you work in a head trauma centre, with people who have suffered an injury to the brain as a result of a road traffic accident (for example), and one of the patients gets upset and happens to grab your neck? Yup, I'm sure your way will work. But you'll be looking for another job, that's for sure. At the end of the day, it's all about options, and having the right tool for the job. We all know that you can put a screw into a piece of wood with a club hammer — but it's not ideal.
