  • Wonderful interpretation of this sonata! The brilliance of the details,the perfection of structure and a wonderful sound texture make him a pianist of great intelligence-a great musician.It is ,but,not i who should dare categorise him.

  • Much Sweeter and Cantabile than Wilhelm Kempff's

  • I'm not a fan of Barenboim's conducting (too slow, heavy) but WOW! this is wonderful playing of a movement that eludes some of the greatest pianists. It is truly songful singbar) as Beethoven requests, and the rubato is so natural you barely notice it. Inspiring.
