Forza 3 money glitch (works with patch offline)

(note as of 12/30/2011 it still works as long as you continue to to follow directions this glitch bypasses the updates, I will no longer answer anymore comments about this glitch because I don't own the game anymore.)
before beginning I would make it so that your system will not be able to disconnect to the internet
*take off your Ethernet cable or WiFi adapter (or however your getting online)

step 1 clear cache on ALL memory devices (cant have any update on the game show up)
step 2 (there are 3 methods)
1) make a new save on another device so you can keep your old save and just use the auction house to transfer cars over (putting them for sale and ending the auction).
2) create a new live account and use that to start a new game and gift the cars you want to yourself.
3) (if you cant get gold for #2 and cant get another memory unit) delete your save and start over (sorry)
step 3 complete the first few races till it gives you the money to upgrade your first car
step 4 buy the parts you can (dont go back to the last menu or you'll have lost the money)
step 5 hit start a menu will appear
step 6 hit reset to default
step 7 (2 methods)
1) (fastest) sign out then sign back in
2) (slower) hit the guide button and go to the dashboard and reload the game
step 8 sell the parts you have then repeat steps 4-8 until desired amount of money is achieved
step 9 reconnect your internet to the system and update to bring it online
step 10 (2 methods)
1) (if you did this with saves) if you want to transfer the cars over from one save to another you can throw each car on the auction house load the other save cancel the auction and resolve it to bring the car into your garage
2) (if you did this with profiles) gift the cars to your original account.

@berend109 -no the cashe is only updates for the games it will make your gamesave (the one made previous to this) unusable until you do update and it'll work again. and enable you to get online the gamesaves will only work with the update it was last played on or more recent

@xXsuperzackXx that'll get your save banned on the auction house and storefront about 2 minutes after going into the auction house but to all reading this he is talking about a game save mod you can do with a usb flashdrive or transfercable and a program on your pc or mac(maybe) x360tools you can find a tutorial by searching x360tools forza 3 on youtube it should be within the first 5 results
