  • @RayAir1 lol

  • Will that work with Verizon?

  • hi kf6vgz could i talk all over the world whit this radio? cos i was thinking in buy a IC-92AD.

  • At first I didn't like the sound of D-STAR. But I got a IC-E91 with an optional D-STAR module. Now I really like the sound of D-STAR in weak conditions. Yes it's a little R2D2 sounding, but it really increases intelligibility compared to FM in similar conditions.

  • this sounds delicious

  • so i am a little confused , when you program a repeater call sign , you would put it in R1 or R2, and your call in the my call field (per the manual), doesn't something need to go into the CQ field too?

  • Love my 92AD and DVAP - That is definately digital voice 73 de Jason WX4JCW

  • Our ham repeater is set up using P25 with full time 256-bit motorola digital encryption (AES).

We don't care about the encryption. It keeps the riff raff out out and the repeater has a 70-mile range in secure mode.

  • @HobbyPicker Lmao

  • sounds as good as cq100.
