The Earth is Groaning - Unknown sound phenomena occurring 2011

Strange sounds of UNKNOWN origin penetrating through the earth. The phenonema has been on going for months now in various parts of the world and has been given no real explination to how or why. One possible theory to the phenonema is the sounds are being caused drilling to make way for large underground bomb shelters as some Governments are taking the threat of 2012 seriously. These noises are being reported on a much larger scale compared to what this video shows.

Why is it that no one on these videos have actually heard the noise? My mom and I heard something VERY similar in Minnesota, but unfortunately we didn't have a camera handy. I'm not saying we heard whatever these people are claiming to hear, I just don't understand why there are so many uploads from different areas, but so many comments claiming to have never heard it at all ? Just a thought.

I wonder if these are just "civilization" noises. We forget that there are water pipes, sewer pipes, cable and electricity lines underground and they operate 24/7. Behind my backyard are highways with traffic all the time and the low level noise from roads is fairly constant. I wouldn't worry about sinister activity because there is noise all the time outside in our modern, industrial world.

Here's my theories. It is either space aliens living in the Earth, like in the Tom Cruise's movie, War of the Worlds; Which I don't believe. But this is a strong possibility. This happens from time to time, every few hundred thousand to a few million years. Our poles shift. Now let's do some math. Antarctica gets very little snow. I believe Antarctica only gets a few inches of snow a year. However, it snows a whole lot in the Arctic. Could there be enough snow build up in the Arctic that causes
