Sam Moore And Dave Prater were both Georgia natives and they met while traveling the gospel music circuit. Their union as a singing duo produced some of the biggest selling R&B hits of the 60's including this version of "Soothe Me" written by Sam Cooke and recorded during a live performance. "Soothe Me" was released in 1967 just missing the Top 40 on the pop charts.
