The loadbearing structure is bamboo (33 bamboo poles bear the roof) The walls are made of strawbales, filled in a wooden frame and plastered with clay. The roof is made of wood, insulated with hemp. So, it is not made entirely of bamboo, that is correct, but the special thing about this building is, that the bamboo is used for structural purposes.
