@yousuckhardtime I guess you can appreciate a film that tries to do something different. It did have "multiple" plots with different characters. A movie without a plot is a movie like "Slacker". Please correct yourself.

Since when do movies have to even resemble reality? it's a medium that harbours a variety of genres, of which only a handful contain factual events.

There are a lot of people spouting stereotypical garbage they know nothing about. I guess it's commonplace on youtube, basically always has been. Yes, the last time I checked, brazil is not in italy, nor is it the other way around. Again, comparing street gangsters from brazil, to the mafia in italy is a bad comparision.
City of God was a good movie, very good infact. But I highly doubt the streets are like that, in ghetto's yes... but not the rest of brazil.
Please don't glamorize terror... It's not cool. Saying brazil is all like that is a desgrace. "City of God had more gor and deaths" I mean seriously...
