One of my female cresties, Chimichanga, was digging around early yesterday - I popped open her lay box and got to watch her starting to bury her eggs! I'd been curious as to how they do it - she seemed very gentle as she would use her nose to break up thicker spots of dirt and then pat the loose pieces around the eggs. This morning, the spot was hard-packed and Chimichanga was off catching some z's in the leaves :)
Crested geckos normally lay just two eggs per clutch, but they're large in comparison to their body size.
