Verry good driver. Not a good rider.

@flugplatz21 What surprise me was how quick around Laguna Seca the Volkswagen Golf GT was compared to the other performance cars. I don't know what tyres they ran or if they had any mods such as racing pads. I assume the test drivers were professional.

@droceretik Nice list. Is that SS R6 on slicks? Although with no downforce I don't know how much difference it makes on a bike. I'd seen comparison lap tests in Road & Track and the like, didn't mean to be ignorant, but I am surprised. I did do some research for what I found, guess you did more. Tried again and found your numbers today.

As for the bike having no chance... This bit of the lap is about as far s the car gets ahead...If you see the full version the R1 wins....

@Bocconb yea, bikes are waaay faster, in a straight line, but most track oriented cars have better handling than super bikes, seeing as they have 4 tires instead of only 2, much more rubber on the ground
-
@kobasica You take a bike out on a track like this on a really cold day and see how hard you can run it.... If it was a sunny 70 degree day it would obviously be different
-
Why isn't this in a fail compilation or something? I see no vs part.
-
i spotted around 12 different times when the bike could've overtaken the porsche.
VS...? nope.
Sorry but the R1 guy isn't a very fast rider.
