i prefered John Newton's Superboy over Gerard Christopher's. but the Gerard Superboy episodes were more interestin.

I really love this kinda setup. I wish more movies and shows would do this for a featurette or the comentary.

Yeah, thats very true. The overall show did get a bit better crafted in his run.

@BeachBoysGuy1 Yeah he did. I'm glad someone else noticed that. It's more evident in Season 2 than 3 or 4 though. Honestly I thought his portrayal of Superboy sucked, especially his over the top nerd Clark. Seriously, what the hell was that all about? If that was what Ilya wanted, then good for Newton not doing that.

Newton just looked and acted the part better. If only he had been allowed to have done the other seasons I may have stuck around to watch them.

Yeah but she is done the Teri Hatcher thing she needs to eat. I wish the folks at smallville would get the cast together. I got an Ideal that would be great for the show.

Me too. John Newton looked more realistic plus Gerard Christopher look a tad bit too effeminate at times.

Is it just me, or are they laughing AT Ilya towards the end, because he fumbles his words?

I saw Gerard Christopher first, when I was a kid. They started airing the series in Denmark direct from the fourth season, when the cool intro was in the show and the really good theme. I remember it was aired here as "Superman", and I got into an argument with a classmate on the monday following the first saturday broadcast about whether he was called Superboy or Superman, ha ha!
