So now we have hit Abuja what next. I pray for peace for Nigeria. Niger Delta prays for peace for Nigeria. But Niger Delta are men of action, at the moment Nigerians hate us, one day they will follow our lead. We are doing what the rest of Nigeria is scared to do, from the peaceful Ogoni resistance, to the Ijaw militancy, one day southern Nigeria as well as the middle belt will thank us.
We can run away from the truth as long as we want but it would always catch up with us.Major policies in nigeria are either filled with tribalism or greed. How could any nigerian say its al-right and try to ignore the existence of this factors. Maybe we should all go back to our tribal nations, at least it worked out for us better that way.
sometimes it is not that we don't care but where is the leadership to inspire us to care and see to our brother as our own? nigeria, california, texas, jamaica, haiti, congo, rwanda.Ladies we have some work to do and we have to be creative on how to approach erradicating the destraction and getting ot the point.the u.s. is not trying to get involved the u.s. backs all the wars in Africa.this gov sees it to her benifit any fighting in africa.though the say no interest.that's a lie.
this is so wonderful to find this discussion. i really have no one in my circle to discuss this issue. i do bring it up. every area affects all of us. when the problms swole up a few weeks ago they don't mention it here but i know that it is cuzing an effect here in the states.becuz of the oil.but you here nothing. We are so destracted by so much here as in nigeria and the world over.oppression and propogated consumerism has swallowed 99.9 of our attention.
Africa as an entire continent is hundreds of years behind due to the fact that we have been colonized and exploited by outside influences. We are playing a hard game of catch up and it is up to us to employ our skills of unity and diplomacy and our money to teach others the skills so that our children's childrens will be better off. We must unite as a country. That's the whole problem the dividing of ourselves. We are all Nigerian. Why can't we get along for the good of our people & our future.
