Vietnam war produced 246 medal of honor awards, hundreds of silver and bronze stars..the middle east conflict hasn't come close to these numbers at all,.is it because our combat units aren't engaging the enemy as much as in other wars..even so I would think our guys should have gotten more awards.My unit during the tet offensive in Vietnam received awards equivalent to the silver and bronze stars for each member during a specific time period or combat operation
