Tips on how to care for your piercing and your jewelry, how to clean and choose your jewelry. Signs that your jewelry is infected. NOTE: this video is from my personal experience with having piercings. Everyone heals differently and you should always take the advice given to you by a trained professional or doctor. Please DO NOT TRY TO PIERCE YOURSELF. This is very dangerous and can easily lead to an infection and scarring.

  • idk if you answered this already but Ive got my done three days age and my question is when washing my bellybutton 2 times a day with antibacterial soap am i suppose to try to get the soup in my piercing hole or just on the belly ring also the top on mine is red is the normal ?? please reply

  • I always washed mine once or twice a day. You can work the bar back and forth to clean down into the piercing, but be very careful that you wash thoroughly to get all of the soap out to avoid getting an infection. Right after you get it pierced it can be red because your body is adjusting. Try to wear looser clothing and clean regularly and you should be fine.

  • Hi, how often do you clean your piercing and is it a high risk that you may get an infection. Thanks

  • as long as you clean it regularly and daily, try to wear looser clothing and dont touch your piercing any more than you have to you should be fine. Make sure that you go to a reputable piercing studio and that everything is sterile before you let them pierce you.

  • @sexiilexii741 Im pretty sure the lump is just a sighn that your body is trying to heal the wound, and that it's not used to a forein objecting your skin. You'll be fine... I'm 97% sure though

  • xKutiePie2x my septum go infected once, so all u have to do is clean it alot with salt water, and put alot of salt in the waterr. And get survival steel, it's better becuase there is less infection. If the infection gets really bad, just take the pericing out becuase your body isn't used to the forein objectt. And when it's healed u can repierce it againn. I hope u get better :O
