  • Soooo. I'm currently working on book 3 but never did do book 1 i love this piece. Did you master it? I want to make sure I'm playing it right !

  • I do not finish book 2 as I am using ABRSM exam book grade 3 now. You should be able to play it well considering you are on book 3. My current teacher said that the counts were not that right. I did not have a teacher when I studied that piece

  • I learned right hand and left hand separately and finally both hands. It took me some time to do the appregio. Hope it helps

    d

  • Played it in concert!!!! Great job :D

  • @andrelie1 I'm currently on this song too! And im learning it th same way you did. Right then left then tgt :D teehee!

  • I wonder what the difference is in ABRSM exam book and adult book 3? I never did get lessons on this piece but am going to ask my instructor about it. I am playing it about the same as the video you posted right now. What pieces are you working on right now? Still Aflred or no?

I've been taking lessons for 1 year now. It almost took the entire year to work through book 2, so I am very much a beginner!

  • Look at the way the notes interact with one another. If you're predominantly right handed then see when the notes hit in time with the right hand. Practice it real slow with both hands (don't be scared to mess up) and then slowly speed up =).

  • Very good! I "graduated" from this book a few weeks ago and am now working on easier classical stuff. It's exciting to actually be able to play piano. :)

  • when i learn a new song from the book. i also sometimes feel like i cant get the hang of it. but an hour later after taking a break. i get the hang of it lol
