This is a baby crow I'm hand-rearing. He's been hand-reared by someone else previously, and is a little bit on the tame side. Also he's pathetic, he should have learned to eat for himself by now, but as you can see from the video, he'd rather just shout and have someone else feed him.

In the end, he does eat, but not before he shouts at the food to just jump into his beak!

He's called 'velcro' because he tends to jump on your arm and stick to you.

  • I am in love with Velcro!!!! His baby screams touch my heart. Are you planning on releasing him?

  • @cipollatius The idea is to release him, but he was very tame when we got him, and I'm not sure he's going to be wild enough. We shall see! I get the feeling someone was hand-rearing him, got too attached, and put him in with some other crows to break the bonds, but he's just not ready to compete for food with other crows. As you can see, he seems to think yelling at the food (or other birds) will make it jump into his beak :)

  • Yes I see he's very tame and helpless on his own. Thank you taking such good care of him!
