These are the last two courses, making for a grand total of 24. I wish there was a better variety of locations, but hey, it was nice for a first try. At least these two courses feel fitting for the final two. (And the entire Monkey Cup for the final four, for that matter.)
Would Amigo stop following me already? He's been trailing me in every Grand Prix except the Samba Cup, which is the one named after his game!
Race #3
Pirates Ocean
Monkey Target
Song: Party Game 1
The Monkey Ball courses before this one have been fairly short, with each lap under 40 seconds. Monkey Target is over twice that long, with an ending section that can be difficult to impossible if you don't understand how to approach it. Looking quite different from the Pirates Ocean in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (which was at night and is supposed to be ghostly and eerie, with music fitting that mood), this course takes you through a Polynesian-looking village with a harbor full of pirate ships. Everything floats here. This course has the largest jump in the game, then a rather relentless series of right-angle turns (which we've seen in both Monkey Ball courses before). The final section is a path up to the highest pirate ship, which consists of a long series of sharp hairpin turns. The course alternates between left and right going up and middle going up, so I'm sure a lot of people accidentally overshot the middle path and went downwards once again. (In that case, it's faster to just fall off the course, as you'll be placed on the middle ramp going upwards.) The trick here is to start drifting, then let go of the gas pedal entirely. When you let go, the boost you get from the drift will be enough to get you back to regular speed.
Race #4
Final Fortress
Thunder Deck
Song: Final Fortress
Yep, this looks like Final Fortress to me. It also has the music from that stage in Sonic Heroes. This is the third Final Fortress course and the last course in the game. It takes you outside, to where all the cannons and turrets are. Not to mention that there are a bunch of them inside too.
Sonic says, "You can charge and release TURBO-BOOSTS to smash through on-track hazards." Well, that's actually some GOOD advice for once. This is something that you can't do in Mario Kart Wii; it also saves me a lot of trouble having to dodge stuff during a boost.
After this, I'll be putting up a video of getting the AAA Rank in Mission 42: Monkey Trouble. Why that one? A lot of people are having trouble with it, so I'll show my method of getting it.
My only problem with this game is that Sonic, Shadow, Tails & Knuckles are driving instead of running. I mean I do believe they're faster than cars I'm I right? Other than that I love this game. It's very fun.

@Dathen40 I'm pretty sure they're just following the rules of the competition.
(That being said, the developers originally wanted Sonic to run, but they had problems with collision detection with characters in cars, like Eggman, and put Sonic in a car to fix it.)

Just look at the car Amy is driving. It's so feminine. (That means "girly")

@jasmin8ter2010 And yet Amy is considered as one of, if not THE best among the characters to use a car.

i think that ristar should have been playable. for those who don't know, ristar was the original concept for sonic. that means that sonic was going to be a star person with strechy arms instead of a super fast hedgehog. sega didn't let the character go to waste and made two games using ristar as the the playable character. i felt this comment is apropriate for the final gp video nya.

@TheAurablaze Ristar is hanging out by the side of the Death Egg's "Egg Hangar" course. That means it's very unlikely Ristar will be playable in this game.
