  • @twopie2 I dont think they are are fighting for their own cause actually. I do honestly think there is one group with all the "same" people (getting privileges over the majority) and then the other group with a mix of all ethnicities trying to make York an environment that is fair and equal for all students...regardless of what each students view is on the whole issue in the middle East. Any ways I hate politics...thats why I did Kine and now doing Pod Med :) Tootles

  • @supershitt lol all paki guys that complain are funny!

  • this paki guy is so funny!XD

  • @HalfLifeFan91 You are right, i dont know if either side is capable of intellectual debate. Thats the sad part.

  • @twopie2 - There is no "intellectual debate" when two sides are debating an issue yet a lazy self-proclaimed apolitical "third side" which is uninvolved sits there and complains.

  • @HalfLifeFan91 In any intellectual debate, it is never a good point to tell another group to keep thier mouths shut. But then again, I wish both these groups would keep their mouths shut, majority of people are tired of hearing the whinning on both sides of the issue.

  • For a university that prides itself on diversification and tolerance, the many student groups and the sudent politics at York seem to be divided based on ethnicity. This cannot be healthy.

My days in student politics were based on ideology (right vs Left) not ethnicity or Israel vs. Palestine. These groups are not fighting for students, they are fighting for their "cause"

  • @osman1509 - - Because to some of us this issue is important? Maybe some of us support either Israel or Palestine and take this issue seriously?

If the other 95% of students don't like it, then they can do what the atheists do to Christians and set up an "apolitical society"; otherwise they can keep their mouths shut.

  • @emaxxx29 - But then it doesn't follow that if you dislike Israeli policies... that you hate Jews...

  • I am an American and regardless of what Turkey or Russia has done wrong in the past, their support of the Palestinians and their resistance to the American/Israeli Terrorism, is something the whole world supports and they should be PROUD THAT THEIR LEADERS ARE STANDING UP TO THESE BARBARIC ISRAELI MURDERERS!!!
