Mar. 31 - Pro-marijuana lobby in Israel says rabbis ruling implies marijuana is kosher in Israel - just not at Passover.
A recent ruling by rabbis ahead of this year's Passover holiday could put the 'high' back in the 'high holidays' as Julian Rake reports from Jerusalem.
These rabbis illustrate how uneducated they are about cannabis and its effects of use on the body. The idea of how we must stay healthy as a reason to not use it/it not to be kasher is simple ignorance. Marijuana has been proven, scientifically, to be less harmful than both cigarettes and alcohol, both of which the black-haters consume in extreme quantities. But then again, we can't let facts get in the way of dogma, now can we?

This is silly. Hemp seeds are kosher (outside of pesach), delicious, and contain no THC.
The issur on Marijuana is clearly given in a tshuva by Moshe Feinshtein, it covers 5 areas of the issue (not just from a health basis).

isn't hemp referring to the use of the plant in the industrial setting? Hemp rope, rugs, clothing and that sort of thing? People are so desperate to be able to smoke it, they'll take any chance they can get to interpret or manipulate words just to get it. Obviously they were talking about that sort of thing. NOT smoking it. The rabbi was right. We are to keep ourselves healthy, and any smoke in your lungs is NOT healthy in any way.

These idiot stoners have taken the Rabbis ruling out of context. And its completely bullshit that anyone has a 'spiritual experience' from smoking that crap. A genuine spiritual experience takes time and investment, smoking that shit is for lazy people. The Rabbis ruling was not suggesting that hemp is kosher as a hallucinogenic or drug.

Cannabis laws need to be reformed. Prohibition does not work. Remember alcohol prohibition? Al Capone?.. That's what I thought.
