The billionaire philanthropist Nasser D. Khalili is unveiling his unparalleled collection of Islamic art at the Institute of the Arab World in Paris. Khalili, an Iranian-born Jew based in London, has amassed a collection of some 20,000 artworks dating from the seventh to early 20th centuries. AFPTV spoke to Khalili about the show, which he hopes will serve as an "ambassador" for the Islamic world. Duration: 01:24
i am sad for that a lot of art are sold out side tha arab world .i think rich arab men should buy rare arts and keep it at least in arab countries.....the d.khalili collection is amazing....but still he dont have a phoenician ivory flute...one of its kind... or the phoenician ivory ship model...no one can own every thing even if he that rich...
