Formant Brothers is a composition cooperative started by Nobuyasu Sakonda and Masahiro Miwa in 2000. With regards to Le Tombeau de Freddie / L'Internationale, they assert the fact that a famous Rock Star, Freddie-M, did actually sing The Internationale in Japanese, and they do so with the justification that we simply believe the "fact" that any recorded music is a trace of an original event "which-has-been-there" in the real world. This is the first pop-song which is sung by a specters voice, synthesized by their original realtime-formant-synthesis technique, and which is based on their discussion on the ontology of music, as it is mediated by todays technologies.

最後の高らかに歌われる「ああ、インターナショナル」がこれほど感動的に聞こえるとは!
