"Beginning in October I started releasing beats for free, the response was instant. Since then I've released almost an album if not an album worth of beats and I've loved every second of it. Recently I used Facebook to reach out to my fans and friends and see what they would like to see from me and what they wanted was more beats, so much more so that I dedicated the last week to making an exclusive album/EP of brand new beats. It was destined to be called "Free Beats Vol 1." This project was an absolute blast to make.

The first beat I made for the project was "Tomorrows Past," the sample is from "Paul Williams - For the Life of Me." It is a very prominent part of the song and was the main reason in the decision to go with very sample heavy beats on this project. I also kept to a solid but basic formula in the way I structured all of the beats in that, they are made exclusively for vocalists, rappers, singers, poets, songwriters, etc. In other words all of the beats are set up for 16 bar verses and either have a sampled chorus or are structured for you to lay down you favorite hooks. Although they are structured for vocalists, they are made for listening so please feel free to download and just listen to or when your freestyling with you friends in the car! ;)

All the tracks have the BPM and the lyrics of what the samples are saying and where they are from if you click the individual track. A lot of people are curious where the sample is from and this way you can go and see how I used and flipped them. So you might recognize some you might not. In the end I hope everyone enjoys the EP and once again, THANK YOU, although musicians will always make music for them, we'd be lying if we said we didn't make it for our fans, listeners, friends and family. Love is in the air!"
