I need help Im a noob. I have a DVD-Ram drive and I am using dvd+r 16 x 4.7gb 120 minutes. Can anyone tell me id this is compatible? I would say I am pretty inclined, but this is just kicking my ass. It will play on my monitor but says it can't be played on dvd player in my home. I tried 3 different dvd players. Help anyone !!!!

@360atGOD I think you'll be fine. I'm not sure what steps you are taking to create your DVD. Hopefully you are using MyDVD in Creator. If so, it should work fine. Often if a dvd won't play in a dvd player the issue with is media. Try a different piece of media. If that doesn't work send a note outlining exactly what you do in creator to product the DVD. thx.

@sjcict03082 yes; i did mine. It offers transitions, effects, frames, and DVD menues. You can add multiple background audio tracks and even narrate the video if you wish.

I have this software and I love it.... looking forward to getting Roxio 2011.

The only trouble I have is choosing what format to use when converting videos, there are many many choices to choose from I know I need WMV format but there are a few of those to choose from can anyone tell me what one I need to use?

@tibiafinger Try the following....it worked for me, even though it addresses an error code I was getting, it also fixed my problem with the Capture device.

The error is usually caused by corrupted MSXML 4.0 files. Download and install the latest XML 4.0 update from Microsoft.

Download MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 3 from Microsoft Update site.......

hi. I'm trying to clear up my grandad's computer to make go a bit more faster than it should, i'm not sure if it was already basicly when baught from shop, on the computer or he downloaded , anyway do we need this on out computer for other stuff. or was it a download he did because i don't want to remove it to make something else not work.
