Thanks for this info. I'm looking to use VB.Net for making games. There are loads of opensource Managed DirectX API's out there for use with VB.Net, so it's a really good viable language for making some cool games in.

@AmTheHLU It's a programing program. you can program anything with it, but this is good for starter due to it's very basic syntax (or set of coding rules).
