This is a video from my personal home collection. It is an episode of A&E's American Justice which details the assassination of John Lennon. This is part one.

  • Any of you who think Nixons cia had him killed AFTER the war in vietnam was over .....are paranoid idiots.

  • @bigfolkie5418

Um... you DO know that the world is flat and that the myth of the Earth being an oblong sphere is just a big NASA conspiracy. GOVERNMENT COVERS UP EVERYTHING.

    I kid of course.

    OR DO I

I hope that you didn't actually click thumbs down because if you did that's a dumb reason to dislike a video, even if the subject matter sucks.

  • @helterskelter1 you say no conspiracy then why do all these controvercial people always end up dead , lennon, lady di , luther king jorg haider, pim fortuyn, jfk etc etc

  • @bigfolkie5418 It wouldn't surprise if the CIA was about to do that, Chapman just got there first.

  • justice i USA you mustbe joking illuminate all over the dollar and the people do nothing they too dumb down in usa

  • @NeilFraudstrong

I see, thanks Neil. Nevermind the conspiracy theories, that, I feel, is one of the biggest mysteries of them all - the comparative lack of communication from the doormen. Policemen, journalists, doctors have all given multiple interviews about the events of 8th December, but not the doormen! Surprising.

  • @badgerfaye

Jay Hastings gave an interview in Rolling Stone, but that's it. Jose disappeared from The Dakota shortly after and my friend who used to be J's PA ran into him in a bar some years later and Jose was disheveled, drunk, and I think homeless. Jay Hastings disappeared and moved to Vermont to work on a farm and no one has heard anything from him since.

  • @NeilFraudstrong

Always been surprised that I have never come across an account of the events of that day from one of the Dakota's doormen. Chapman talked to them a few times over the course of the day, and at least one of them would have been the closest witness to the shooting - so somewhat surprised that they have never seemingly talked much about what happened.

Unless the doormen found the events just too shocking..........

  • @helterskelter1

Thank you for being a voice of reason. To some people, it is inconceivable that anything in this world could happen naturally and without the involvement of the FBI, CIA, Freemasons, or the Illuminati. Every time I see someone on a rant about the Illuminati I roll my eyes with the biggest look of disdain that I can possibly give. I have no idea how anyone can live their life believing in such a wild conspiracy like that. It astounds me that people believe it.

  • @boomdocker100 Lennon liked Reagan personally. They had met. Chapman acted alone with no government involvement. Why do some people think everything is a conspiracy?

  • when lennon was killed in 80, reagon was just coming to power and nuclear weapons were a big issue, lennon would have been very hostile to reagons right wing government, also hed just started recording again after 5 years in isolation, something that would have worried the authorites, chapman killed him then gave himself up, he propably been given some mindbending drug from some agency where you get someone to do your dirty work and chapman has no idea about anything

  • A great time for all the family.. ages 6-12 recommended
