I wonder how many people appreciate the mystical / philosophical appeal of Rumi. The poetry can appeal to anybody regardless of what religion or culture they come from. Just like Kahlil Gibran.

Is that only what Rumi represents?
Rumi's words only work for Muslims? I'm not denying that Rumi was a practising Muslim but the words reach out to all of us.

Taqiyya is haram by the way... its just a nice word for lying. anyhow mate try to read about Islam without a prejudiced mind... so you can understand and respect your neighbors rather than insulting others and spreading hatred. I want peace but the only way to have peace currently, is to excise islam from Judeo-Christian nations. islam is simply not compatible with our way of life, morals or value. muslims are not interested in our way of life. islam needs to end or be kept away from us. Evil, evil, evil.

@Amortage is that one path to God. then yes historically the jews followed the commandments of God. Some of them went astray ad God sent Prophets to remind them of the truth. Jesus wassent specifically to the israelites. Some accepted his message. others didnt. then some went against Jesus message to worship God alone. Muhammad was the last Prophet sent to all humanity and the Quran is the final revelation of the Word of God. So one is responsible to accept Gods message when it is given. Peace
