The J.W. Shelley is shown passing under the Bluewater Bridges in Port Huron. The Shelley is owned by Vanguard Shipping Ltd. She was Launched on June 18, 1968 as the Algocen at Collingwood Shipyards. She is powered by 4 Fairbanks Morse diesel engines built by Canadian Locomotive Co. The J.W. Shelley is a favorite among many boatwatchers.

  • Great vid!! This one of my favorite ships, love that blue hull!! I Love the sound of those 4 Fairbanks-Morse 2-stroke oppossed piston 12-cylinder (24 pistons) diesels at 2000hp each!!

  • @Xx69roadrunnerxX Same here, one of my favorites. I have never heard ship engines like the Shelley's. After the Shelley passed me and was a mile down river, I could still hear her engines rumbling along.
