@apex4111 Wrong, even the leader of the Rebel Alliance, Mon Mothma has a british accent and so does Obi Wan Kanobi. Most of the stormtroopers have American accents.

Hmmm. The Emperor's a Scot, most Imperial officers are English. The Rebels on the other hand mostly have US accents. Well I know now which side I choose. All hail the British Empire, death to the American Rebel scum!

@apex4111 You do know Vader, various Stormtroopers, and lots of other people in the games have U.S. accents right? Even so, the Empire was based more off of Nazi Germany and the Roman Empire.
Even so, what does being American or British have to do with picking the Rebels or Empire? I'm American and the Empire is my favorite faction. But besides that, Star Wars isn't meant to be taken that seriously.

The Empire would be better if Palpatine wasn't such a twisted, corrupt Sith. If the Empire had fixed the problems that the Republic was too weak to resolve there might have been no rebellion in the first place. Unfortunately Palpatine was only interested in his own power, not the good of the galaxy. Who knows, if Padme or even Luke had joined Vader and overthrown Palpatine, things might have been different. Padme rejecting Vader in Ep III was what really screwed everything up. Bitch.

@apex4111 There wouldn't have been an Empire if he wasn't a twisted and corrupting Sith. There might not have even been a Confederacy of Independent Systems or even a Clone Wars. Even so, the Empire was more or less bringing the Sith Order victory in destroying the Jedi and having the Galaxy hunder his control was also a goal.
