@emoboyz9 Yeah spot on dude! It was my BIOS. I had 2007 and 2009 BIOS which were obviously conflicting. Finally got it to work - thanks to you.

@Pantera6882 ur machine is better thin myn so u should have no problem with geting it runing at all i dont see what ur problem is maybe u do need to up date the bios

Basically I wrote a whole message on my phone which didn't send so I'll say it again. Win 7 64bit, 4gb RAM, 1gb Graphics Card etc. My machine is mor than capable of running the emulator, yet it still 'hangs'. No crashes at least, but every rom I've tried (six at least) have the same effect -- or no effect. Do I need to use the 'Utopia' Boot disc, or get BIOS from 2011? It's all good man, thanks for your help anyway.

@Pantera6882 it could be ur game file as well if ur not useing a disc try a diff game? i dont really no much of what ur problem is i just downloaded and set up the emu to show ppl how to get it started i never use this 1 i could mess around with myn till i get ur problem and thin explain to u waht i think ur problem is but if ur wanting a better anser i would need to no ur specs and wether u are useing 7,8,xp,vista and laptop or pc and intell or not

@Pantera6882 if u can get a ps2 emu working u should have the right specs for this this emu is harder to get running thin dolphin in my opinion whats ur specs?

I've configured all of the plug-ins accordingly. It doesn't really 'hang' so to speak, but rather attempts to load the game, then remains on the 'NullDC' start-up screen. It never 'crashes' so that's a start lol. In the DOS window it states: not implemeted opcode: 800. Funny because the Dreamcast is the only emulator that I can't get working.

@Pantera6882 the bios is recommended to be current but it dose not have to be but if its just hanging and nothing is loading maybe its a plug in problem? did u try going to configure ur plugin ? did u get any kind of errors seting up the emu? if u can ether reply to this comment or inbox me plizz btw im james from this channel im just to lazy to switch over ~james

Hey man, just a quick question: does the BIOS have to be current? For example, I am using NullDC version 1.04, yet I have .bin files from 2009. I still can't get this to work. Plug-ins and configurations are set, yet when I 'start' the emulator it just hangs and nothing actually loads.

I'll try to figure it out :)
