I gotta agree with zacchaeus. I didn't grow up in the hip hop culture, but who is any one of us to say that everyone who raps is full of pride?? I am the last one to judge anyone because I am not worthy, only God is. We all have some aspect of sin in our lives. If they have repented in their hearts, does that make hip hop artists any different than us who have repented from our sin? God looks at the inside, not the outside, so I dont believe we can say that anyone is full of pride...

you can't make hip hop be the only thing that contains pride. we are all born into sin, hip hop is just a culture that people grow up in. but Christ redeems people of all cultures to Him. i grew up in the culture but my allegiance is to Christ. there are some who are not, but that's with any people group. we can't generalize or stereotype a group as being so sinful. truth be told be are all depraved and only saved by God's grace. soli deo gloria!!!
