@bretchet23 pLEASE name 1 powerlifter in the 220 pound weight class that squats 800 pounds raw, or even with a belt and wraps. Also, the drugs are just as prevalent in Olympic Weightlifting as they are in powerlifting. Over the past few olympics, entire teams have been kicked out due to numerous failed drug tests. Which sport is best? Both are, depending what a person wants to do, but it's like comparing apples to oranges...

@anarki23x what do you mean by stronger? There is not a single powerlifter in the world that can do what this man just did. An ATG front squat twice with that kind of weight unsuited. How are they stronger in this lift? How are they stronger in ATG back squats?

@bretchet23 im not sure what faggy lingo uses the term "buried" but you proved my point with the knee wraps and the belt. also most powerlifters are fat fucks who can barely waddle up to a monolift, much less do a single pullup. heres the heirarchy of gymgoers and fitness enthusiasts:
functional weightlifter (can climb, jump, pullup) > fat weightlifter > powerlifter (all fat) > bodybuilder > curlbro teenager > fatty trying to lose weight

@bretchet23 because powerlifting federations and unofficial weightlifting federations only drug test every few months. have you ever been a part of one? im 14lbs off from my state deadlift record in my weight class, i considered gear, and i had the time to take it and then some. also, if they are so strong why cant they break the c&j records? because they lack power. the only thing they can do is waddle up to a monolift in a 3-ply suits and belts and do a fucking PARALLEL squat.

@bretchet23 technical power lifts. strength x speed = power. power trumps strength, though it requires it.

What can I do to increase the flexibility in my wrists? I currently do front squats with the folded arms method. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

@seymond2000 there's no better way than to just start doing them. It will be painful at first but you will develop the flexibility over time. You really just needs 2 or 3 fingers to keep the bar stabilized, not too many people can keep the fingers wrapped around. The weight should all be on your shoulders. Throw in some light front squats every workout for several weeks (like 135 or just enough weight to get the bar to proper position) and you'll get there soon enough!
