For thirty years, Pat Benatar has been one of the most influential women in rock music. Now in her first ever memoir, this rock legend tells her story as she saw it, detailing her rise to fame, life in the MTV generation, her tours, the fans, and how she managed to avoid the trappings of rock stardom.

  • The other artists she mentioned are not worthy, because they don't rock....Pat ROCKS!!!!!!!!!....Been a fan since '79 and always will be....Pat is from a time when there were real artists that got to where they were because they were great....music of today sucks...it's all fake.

  • PAT ROCKS!!!!!!!!! My FAV singer of ALL time!!!!!!!! Member of her fan club and got her autograph and see her every year in concert. Pat's songs MADE the 80's what they were. Can't wait for Pat's book to come out this month and see her at the book signing and in concert this summer. BEST FEMALE ROCKER OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!

  • Just read the book! It was amazing. Love you so much Pat. Thanks for the great memories. I can not think of my teen years without thinking of you because I loved your music and went to all of your concerts; had your posters on my wall. You were my role model. I don't agree w/what you said in this vid about GaGa, yuk! Beyonce just uses a "sex" image and music and nothing else. Stop being so nice!

  • She is amazing!!!!! Its like she know exactly how to read the new female rockers without judgement or liability... We who go after her, salute her!!!

  • THE Goddess of Rock and Roll.

  • awesome lady , this is one gutsy chick !!!

  • Saw her from the 5th row last night - and she still looks as great as she sounds! (Will kick myself for the rest of my life for missing the book signing yesterday afternoon...)

REO should have opened for HER, not the other way around.

  • PAT IS & Always will be the QUEEN OF ROCK & ROLL!!!!

  • Haha i'm 12 and i fricken love her music so much!!

  • I have got to get this book. Pat has been my idol forever! Ive wanted to be a singer like you as long as I can remember. You have always been my inspiration not only as a vocalist, but as a woman as well!!!! Keep Rockin'

  • I was taught to not comment during a tour from my Grandma who played piano/organ for 60 years of dedicated service to Chatholic churches,BUT PAT, who is a year older than my sister, is an ETERNAL INSPIRATION, to me. Even ever since they took a plane flight from N.Y. to L.A.

By the way. If I would have learned a Musical Talent (Electric Guitar), even though I have $5,000 worth of them now, I would of just ended up in TROUBLE with Pat, when I totally wish I was Very Good Friends with them.
