My wife and I recently terminated a diagnosed down syndrome pregnancy at 20 weeks. It is something I have regretted and struggled with ever since.

Have confidence that you made the right decision.Nobody has a right to judge you; they have not walked in your shoes.Our situations don't produce win win outcomes, you are left with the anxiety of the unknown and me though this video portrays beauty, it does not indicate what our life consists of on a daily basis.With the decision to raise our daughter comes huge sacrifices.There isn't a day that I don't think about the flip side, just as you probably do but find peace in the decision you made.

That is lovely! I was called a r--- as a child too, so I KNOW that kind of thing is hurtful. I don't have Downs, but I know what it's like to be told I wouldn't amount to anything. Well, I never got married or had any children, but I served in the Air Force for 6 years, went skydiving a handful of times, and graduated from college with honors. She just needs a chance and people who will encourage her!

What a beautiful story, what a beautiful child. I am a Kindergarten teacher and have children with DS in my classroom. I have been looking for a video to help them understand children with "different abilities" are more alike than different. I wish you would make another video with Maddox talking, interacting with other children, it would be such an awesome tool to use in the classroom. I look at little Maddox and she reminds me of my 2 year old granddaughter. Great video!
