Look at your skin!! So clear and glowing--a wonderful side effect of great nutrition. Thanks for the recipe. I love this smoothie! Glad you're using almond milk. Decided to steer clear of soy milk. I am subbing you!

@Mslizzybluts Sometimes I do, it's yummy & such a great way to make sure you're getting those nutrients in your day! But often whoever is around wants some too, and I'm happy to share! Or sometimes I'll pour it in dehydrator sheets and dehydrate it for fruit & veggie leather or into popsicle molds for the grandkids (makes me happy that they love them!!!!) xox

I love green smoothies and I know yours tastes delicious! I have a Vitamix too... best appliance I ever bought. I make a smoothie every morning. Great video and thumbs up!

@sprice676 YAY! so glad you tried it and found out how good it is. It works well even w/ store bought almond milk, the main thing is just getting the most nutrients in as you can! xoxo

@naturesknockout It was amazing! Although I confess I used store-bought almond milk. Next time I think I'll try it with homemade. Thank you!

Do you think this would work without the almond milk...just using some water instead maybe? Does the almond milk add any flavor to it?

@noelley120 The almond milk actually adds protein, helping make it a complete snack or meal. If you are allergic to nuts or can't have almond milk, rice milk would work. The milk also adds a yummy creaminess to this smoothie, so water can work, it just seems like the texture isn't as appealing. xox
