Not a bad idea. You need a credit card if you really want to build credit, but you also need to be responsible with it to build STRONG credit. What you're suggesting both builds credit, and is responsible. I know many people who simply use a credit card for gas (because you buy that anyway) and pay it off every single month. Builds credit, and looks good on their report. Good thought.

I know i might get flamed but im new to this credit thin what if i get a credit card but a high ticket item on it (say a computer *need one for school*) and just put insane ammounts of money on the bill and hide the card from me using it
