Just got into a car accident and my car was totalled so I am planning on buying a bike with winter tires to get around this winter! I am no longer interested in buying a car. Time to live what I believe in!! Thanks Harley for all the inspiration!

@BrxanMcHigglepuff Ive NEVER had a drivers license. I chip in gas money when we go to races etc. Ive cycled over 190 000km as a vegan. Probably saved that much as well.

Put a bicycle motor kit on it

Duriander -- Do you ever ride the tadpole style trikes? Thoughts?

@philwebb333 Thank you so much, I am going to get one once my cyclecross bike takes a shit.

@hitman1421 I've been riding my bamboo bike here in Thailand for 2 1/2 years. You can't ride in Thailand without getting wet and/or being in the 100F degree direct sun... and mine is holding up amazingly.

Durian, that is so freakin cool! I recently reconnected with my stepfather. He is excited that I have given up animal products for health, and happiness! He said if I stick to it for a year, he'll buy me a bike. I now know which one i'm getting. I used to yearn for a steel Tommasini, but this is really cool! "Thai-Silk!" WOW!!
My brother-in law is a cycling freak also and a dedicated roadie, I'm sure he would really like this too!
Too much fun! Shine on you crazy diamond!!!
Harley quick question. Since I saw you riding the bamboo bike I have been doing alot of research into building my own or buying one. I read from the guy who owns bamboo bike studio's that they shouldnt get wet or be in the sun for to long. Any word on debunking this or is this correct?

@hitman1421 I thrash my bamboo bike more than anyone I know (Brad Saul uses his a lot too) and Ive had no probs with the rain. Bamboo can split and still be fine unlike carbon/alloy/steel.

Love the video! Thanks so much (from Bamboo bike maker's wife) for supporting our project! Thank you, too, for inspiring others to ride and to own one. :)

@RedChicow I ride DA 7800 as I like the shape and feel of the levers best.
Riding the bamboo around here in NYC yesterday is great. It soaks up all the road chatter.
