I did this effect in After Effects, I created a mask path using the pen tool, then aligned the text to the mask shape. I then keyframed the mask path and the words which were assigned to that mask followed. Hope I helped. If you want more info message me.

can you possibly tell me again how u made the word vomit.. i cannot read the text in your video.. the words are quite small. I would really appreciate it. x
